The origin of de Goeye
Our story
With over 60 years of experience in the trade, de Goeye Tochtweringen (Draft Shields) started developing the first profile in 1956 (the so-called de Ruiter-Profiel). The first draft profile was developed in a garage and mainly consisted of stainless steel or aluminium. From 1960, this profile was fitted as standard in every Bruynzeel door or frame and delivered throughout the Netherlands. Since 1990, de Goeye Draft Weatherstrip has been redeveloped and tested on a large scale by TNO.
